LES CONSEQUENCES DU 3\u00e8me<\/sup> <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0MANDAT DU PRESIDENT PIERRE NKURUNZIZA SUR LA VIE DU PAYS DURANT LES 4 ANS DE CRISE (25 avril 2015 \u2013 25 avril 2019)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Depuis le 25 avril 2015,\u00a0quatre ans jour pour jour,\u00a0le Burundi conna\u00eet une crise sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent d\u00e9clench\u00e9e par la d\u00e9cision du Pr\u00e9sident Pierre Nkurunziza de briguer un troisi\u00e8me mandat en violation de l\u2019Accord d\u2019Arusha\u00a0et de la Constitution qui en est issue.\u00a0Des manifestations de contestation de ce mandat ont suivi. Une r\u00e9pression f\u00e9roce contre toutes les formes d’opposition politique r\u00e9elle ou pr\u00e9sum\u00e9e, s\u2019observe jusqu\u2019\u00e0 nos jours. Des leaders des partis politiques d\u2019opposition, de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, des membres et sympathisants ont \u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0contraints \u00e0 l\u2019exil, des organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile ont \u00e9t\u00e9 radi\u00e9es et des media ind\u00e9pendants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truits et suspendus, des media internationaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ferm\u00e9s\u00a0sans oublier les ONGs locales et internationales ainsi que les organismes des Nations Unies.<\/p>\n

En outre, des lois liberticides ont \u00e9t\u00e9 promulgu\u00e9es visant \u00e0 museler l\u2019espace de d\u00e9fense des droits de l\u2019homme et l\u00e9galiser les crimes commis par le r\u00e9gime en place au Burundi.<\/p>\n

Cette r\u00e9pression a donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 des crimes graves de droit international tels que des ex\u00e9cutions extrajudiciaires, des assassinats cibl\u00e9s, des disparitions forc\u00e9es, des violences bas\u00e9es sur le genre et des actes de torture. D’autres formes de mauvais traitements inhumains et\/ou d\u00e9gradants ainsi que des arrestations arbitraires\u00a0et des emprisonnements abusifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
