LA PERIODE PRE-ELECTORALE N\u2019EST PAS SYNONYME DE PAIX ET DE STABILITE AU BURUNDI<\/strong><\/p>\n

Depuis le 25 avril 2015, le Burundi connait une crise sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent d\u00e9clench\u00e9e par la d\u00e9cision du Pr\u00e9sident Pierre Nkurunziza de briguer un troisi\u00e8me mandat inconstitutionnel et en violation de l\u2019Accord d\u2019Arusha. Le lendemain, des manifestations de contestation contre ce mandat ont d\u00e9but\u00e9. Une r\u00e9pression f\u00e9roce contre toutes les formes d’opposition politique r\u00e9elle ou pr\u00e9sum\u00e9e, s\u2019observe jusqu\u2019\u00e0 nos jours. Des leaders des partis politiques d\u2019opposition et de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile ont \u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0 contraints \u00e0 l\u2019exil, des organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile ont \u00e9t\u00e9 radi\u00e9es et des media ind\u00e9pendants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truits et suspendus. Cette r\u00e9pression a donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 des crimes graves de droit international tels que des ex\u00e9cutions extrajudiciaires, des assassinats cibl\u00e9s, des disparitions forc\u00e9es et des actes de torture. D’autres formes de mauvais traitements inhumains et\/ou d\u00e9gradants ainsi que des arrestations arbitraires et des emprisonnements abusifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9es.
